On 9 December 2018, the Cultural Funding Watch organized a Resources Mobilisation Information Day parallel to the Carthage International Theater Festival in Tunisia.
The event consisted of creating a space where young Arts and Culture actors would be linked to potential partners and supporters for their initiatives. In a speed dating format, international guests representing various organizations in the field of Arts and Culture presented their support and funding programmes to groups of young professionals from Tunisia.
Represented organizations were the European Cultural Foundation, the Fondation de France, The Kamel Lazaar Foundation, The Rambourg Foundation, Dream’s Chebeb, The BIAT Foundation, The Europe Creative Desk, C3M Audit, the Tunisian Startups Association, and the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation, represented by director Heba El-Kholy.

Founded in 1983, The Carthage International Theater Festival (JTC) is the unique and principal Tunisian-African festival of theater and scenic arts. In addition to an exceptional program of plays, the festival welcomes and organizes a number of parallel activities in the course of its week-long duration.

The Culture Funding Watch is the only startup specialized in resource mobilization for cultural and creative industries in the MENA region. It places the stakes of the professionalization in the mobilization of resources, access to information on funding, and advocacy at the heart of its local and regional strategy.
