KIT Fund and Lutfia Rabbani Foundation have joined forces to support motivated and skilled healthcare workers from low- and middle-income Arab countries who have been admitted to the Master of Sciences in Public Health and Health Equity. Together, we will offer an annual full scholarship to an eligible Master student who demonstrates a proven commitment to public health, has exceptional academic excellence and a strong motivation to promote Euro-Arab dialogue.
The KIT Fund – Lutfia Rabbani Foundation scholarship is strengthened by a mentoring programme that offers the scholarship recipient guidance on a personal and professional level while also providing access to an extensive and diverse network and platforms.
Background
Since 2015, the KIT Fund and the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation have worked together to make health education more accessible to students from the Arab World, with the goal of driving meaningful change in global health. Both KIT Fund the Lutfia Rabbani Foundation recognise that international scholarships are an effective and sustainable manner of promoting dialogue and understanding between cultures; leading to an appreciation of each other’s cultures which is essential for building genuine understanding. This shared belief and collaboration to create a more inclusive society has now led to the establishment of a new joint scholarship with this year as the first in a three-year collaboration.
